This Pumpkin Fudge recipe is a simple no-bake treat combining creamy pumpkin puree with rich melted chocolate and a touch of maple syrup for natural sweetness. Perfect for a seasonal dessert or snack, it’s easy to prepare with no cooking required, just blending and chilling until set. The fudge comes together quickly and serves 32 bite-sized squares, making it ideal for sharing during autumn festivities or any time you want a healthier chocolate indulgence with a pumpkin twist.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 1½ cups chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line a loaf pan with parchment paper to prevent the fudge from sticking and make it easier to remove once set. Set aside.
  2. Blend Pumpkin: Empty the can of pumpkin puree into a blender, which will help achieve a smooth consistency when combined with chocolate.
  3. Melt Chocolate: Melt the chocolate chips either in the microwave using short intervals (15-20 seconds, stirring in between) or on the stovetop using a double boiler to avoid scorching.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Pour the melted chocolate into the blender with the pumpkin puree.
  5. Add Sweetener and Blend: Add the maple syrup to the blender. Blend until the pumpkin and chocolate mixture is fully combined and smooth.
  6. Pour Mixture into Pan: Transfer the blended pumpkin fudge mixture into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly. Tap the pan a few times on the countertop to level the surface and remove air bubbles.
  7. Chill to Set: Place the pan in the refrigerator or freezer for approximately 1 hour, or until the fudge is firm and set.
  8. Cut and Serve: Once firm, remove the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper, cut into 32 small squares, and serve.

Notes

  • You can use any type of chocolate chips: semi-sweet, dark, or milk chocolate depending on your preference.
  • Ensure the pumpkin puree is pure and unsweetened for the best flavor balance.
  • Maple syrup adds natural sweetness, but you could substitute with honey or agave nectar if preferred.
  • For a firmer fudge, freezing instead of refrigeration is recommended.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
