Enhanced with vanilla and sea salt for flavor, it’s easy to prepare, requires no cooking, and can be customized with toppings like fresh berries, almond butter, hemp hearts, and ground flax seeds. Perfect for a quick, wholesome start to your day or a satisfying post-workout snack.

Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 scoop protein powder (Truvani recommended)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 ¼ cups nut milk (almond, cashew, or your choice)
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

Toppings

  • Hemp hearts, to taste
  • Ground flax seeds, to taste
  • Almond butter, to taste
  • Fresh berries, to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a medium-sized bowl, add the chia seeds, protein powder, vanilla extract, water, nut milk, and sea salt. Whisk thoroughly until the chia seeds are evenly dispersed and no lumps remain.
  2. Rest and Whisk: Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to allow the chia seeds to start absorbing the liquid. After 5 minutes, whisk again to break up any forming clumps. Repeat this resting and whisking twice more to achieve a smooth, lump-free pudding texture.
  3. Refrigerate: Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight, to let the pudding fully thicken and develop its creamy consistency.
  4. Add Toppings: When ready to serve, top the pudding with ground flax seeds, hemp hearts, a dollop of almond butter, fresh berries, and a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired for extra flavor and nutrition.
  5. Enjoy: Serve chilled and enjoy your wholesome, protein-packed chia pudding.
