Ingredients

Potatoes

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 4 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure it is hot enough for roasting the potatoes to a crispy golden finish.
  2. Prepare potatoes: Place the cubed Yukon Gold potatoes onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Toss them thoroughly with olive oil, paprika, granulated garlic, kosher salt, and freshly ground black pepper until all pieces are coated evenly. Add freshly grated Parmesan cheese if you wish for extra flavor.
  3. First bake: Transfer the baking sheet into the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes to begin softening the potatoes.
  4. Toss and continue baking: Remove the baking sheet and use tongs to toss the potatoes gently, promoting even cooking. Return the baking dish to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
  5. Final roast: Take the potatoes out again and give them a final toss. Place them back into the oven and roast for another 10 to 15 minutes until the potatoes are golden brown, crispy on the outside, and tender inside.
  6. Serve: Remove the potatoes from the oven, adjust seasoning by dusting extra salt if needed, and serve immediately while hot and crispy.
