A rich and creamy Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino that combines milk, chocolate syrup, and mini chocolate chips blended with ice to create a refreshing, chocolaty iced coffee treat. Topped with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle, this easy-to-make recipe is perfect for a quick indulgence or dessert.

Ingredients

Beverage

  • 1 cup whole milk (or substitute preferred milk)
  • ½ cup chocolate syrup (plus more for drizzle)
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 cups ice

Topping

  • Spray whipped cream OR real whipped cream (prepared with 1 cup whipping cream and ¼ cup powdered sugar)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Add the whole milk, chocolate syrup, mini chocolate chips, and ice into a high-powered blender to prepare the base for the frappuccino.
  2. Blend: Pulse the blender until the ice is broken down into small, evenly sized pieces, creating a smooth and thick icy texture.
  3. Serve: Pour the blended mixture evenly between two tall glasses. Optionally, drizzle chocolate syrup around the inside of each glass before pouring to add extra chocolate flavor and decoration.
  4. Top: Finish each glass by adding a generous amount of whipped cream on top, then drizzle additional chocolate syrup over the whipped cream for a beautiful and delicious garnish.

Notes

  • You can use any type of milk or milk substitute like almond or oat milk to customize your drink.
  • For a vegan version, use non-dairy milk and a vegan whipped topping.
  • Adjust the amount of chocolate syrup and mini chips to taste for more or less sweetness.
  • Using a high-powered blender ensures the ice blends smoothly without large chunks.
  • Whipped cream can be prepared in advance or bought ready-made for convenience.
