A deliciously warm and gooey baked Brie cheese topped with honey, pecans, dried cranberries, chili flakes, and fresh rosemary, made quickly and easily in the air fryer for a perfect appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Cheese

  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese

Toppings

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons dried cranberries or cherries
  • Pinch of chili flakes
  • Fresh rosemary, to taste

Instructions

  1. Score the Brie: Using a sharp knife, score the surface of the Brie in a grid pattern without cutting all the way through to allow the flavors to penetrate and the cheese to melt evenly. Place the Brie on a piece of parchment paper sized to fit your air fryer basket.
  2. Add seasoning and honey: Sprinkle a pinch of chili flakes evenly over the top, then drizzle the honey all over the surface to coat it completely for a perfect balance of sweetness and spice.
  3. Air fry the Brie: Place the Brie with parchment paper in the air fryer basket and cook at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes until the top is golden brown and the cheese is soft and melted inside.
  4. Remove carefully: Take the Brie out with the parchment paper or a spatula as it will be very soft and can break apart easily. Handle gently to maintain its shape.
  5. Add toppings and garnish: Sprinkle the chopped pecans and dried cranberries over the melted cheese, then add a few sprigs of fresh rosemary to enhance the aroma and flavor.
  6. Serve immediately: Transfer the baked Brie onto a serving plate or a wooden board. Enjoy it hot with accompaniments like toast, crackers, fresh grapes, or apple slices for a delightful appetizer experience.

Notes

  • Choose a good quality Brie cheese wheel for the best flavor and melting texture.
  • Adjust the honey and chili flakes quantity based on your preferred sweetness and spiciness.
  • If you don’t have an air fryer, you can bake the Brie in an oven at 350°F for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Be careful when handling baked Brie as melted cheese can be very hot and soft.
  • Serve immediately to enjoy the cheese at its gooey, melty best.
