This 3-Ingredient Mango Sorbet is a quick, refreshing, and healthy treat made without an ice cream maker. Using frozen mango, maple syrup, and fresh lime juice, this no-churn sorbet delivers creamy, tropical flavor perfect for warm days or anytime you crave a light dessert.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 heaping cups frozen mango (approximately two 10-oz bags)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lime juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare mango: Place the frozen mango chunks in a food processor and pulse until the mango breaks down into small shreds. Periodically scrape down the sides to ensure even processing.
  2. Add sweetener and lime juice: Add the maple syrup and fresh lime juice to the food processor. Continue mixing until the processor runs smoothly and only a few small mango pieces remain, scraping the sides as needed to incorporate all ingredients.
  3. Achieve creamy texture: Keep the processor running for at least one more minute to create the creamiest possible sorbet consistency.
  4. Serve or freeze: Enjoy the sorbet immediately for a soft-serve texture. For a firmer consistency, transfer to a sealed container and freeze for 2-3 hours. Before serving after longer freezing, thaw for 10-15 minutes for easy scooping. Store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

  • This sorbet requires no churning or ice cream maker, just a food processor.
  • For best texture, use mango that is fully frozen but not rock solid.
  • Adjust maple syrup quantity to your preferred sweetness.
  • Lime juice adds brightness and balances the sweetness.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container to prevent freezer burn.
  • Allow time for thawing if frozen for longer than a few hours for scoopable sorbet.
