Ingredients

For the Compound Butter:

  • 1 stick, 1/2 cup Challenge Butter (salted), softened to room temp.
  • 4 cloves garlic, about 1 1/2 tbsp, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil, thinly sliced

For the Marinade:

  • 1/3 cup dry sherry
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp minced ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

For the Steaks:

  • 2 Ribeyes, or cut of your choice

Instructions

  1. Compound Butter: Place softened butter in a bowl, add garlic and basil, stir to combine. Shape into a log, chill or freeze.
  2. Steak Marinade: Mix marinade ingredients in a bag, add steaks. Marinate, then grill to desired doneness.
