Ingredients
Brisket:
5–7 pound brisket, fat trimmed
Seasoning:
1 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons smoked paprika
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoons garlic salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
BBQ Sauce:
1 cup bbq sauce, divided
Garnish:
Parsley (optional)
Instructions
Add brisket: Place brisket in a 6-quart slow cooker.
Season: Pour in beef broth, worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Season with paprika, brown sugar, onion powder, garlic salt, and black pepper.
Top with sauce: Pour ½ cup of bbq sauce over the brisket.
Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 8-10 hours until tender.
Optional: Broil brisket with remaining bbq sauce for a crust. Slice and serve.
Notes
The broiling step is optional but adds a nice crust.
For added heat, include chili powder or red pepper flakes.
Serve on a bun with extra bbq sauce.
