Ingredients
Noodles:
8 oz lo mein or egg noodles
Proteins:
1/2 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
Veggies:
1/2 cup carrots, julienned
3 green onions, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
Sauces and Seasonings:
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tbsp neutral oil (for stir-frying)
Cracked black pepper & chili flakes (optional for heat)
Instructions
Boil Noodles: Cook noodles until tender but still chewy. Drain and set aside.
Sear Steak: Heat oil in a skillet. Sear steak cubes until browned and juicy. Set aside.
Cook Shrimp and Veggies: In the same pan, cook shrimp and carrots until shrimp are pink and carrots are tender-crisp.
Combine Ingredients: Return steak to the pan, add garlic and noodles. Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin, sesame oil, and brown sugar. Toss until heated through.
Finish and Serve: Top with green onions and chili flakes if desired.
