Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 Tablespoon minced garlic

For the Sauce:

  • 28 ounces marinara sauce
  • 15 ounces alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Additional:

  • 16 ounces cavatappi, cooked to package instructions

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Trim and place chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Add minced garlic.
  2. Cook: Pour in marinara and alfredo sauces. Cook on LOW for 3-4 hours or HIGH for 1-2 hours.
  3. Cook the Pasta: Cook cavatappi until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  4. Combine: Cube cooked chicken, add back to sauce with mozzarella. Mix in cooked pasta.
  5. Serve: Top with parmesan cheese and enjoy!

  • You can cube or shred the chicken.
  • Recommended sauce brands: Rao’s or Trader Joe’s.
