Ingredients
Chicken:
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper to taste
Orzo:
1 cup orzo pasta
Mushrooms:
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
Marsala Sauce:
1/2 cup Marsala wine
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Garnish:
Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Cook the Chicken: Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in olive oil until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Prepare the Mushrooms: Sauté mushrooms in butter, add garlic and thyme.
Deglaze with Marsala Wine: Add Marsala wine and simmer.
Cook the Orzo: Add chicken broth and orzo, cook until al dente.
