Soft crescent rolls filled with a rich pecan mixture, baked to a golden crisp perfection. These Pecan Pie Crescent Rolls are a delightful twist on a classic pecan pie, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

Filling

  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, mix sugar, corn syrup, butter, vanilla, and egg. Set aside 2 tablespoons of this mixture. Toss pecans in the remaining mixture.
  3. Assemble Rolls: Unroll the crescent dough on the baking sheet. Place pecan filling on each triangle and roll up.
  4. Bake: Bake for 8 minutes, then brush with reserved sugar mixture and bake for 5 more minutes until golden.
  5. Finish and Serve: Optionally, sprinkle more pecans on top before serving.
