  3. Prepare the Peaches: Drain, peel, pit, and cut the peaches into pieces.
  4. Cook the Peaches: Simmer peaches with water until soft and mushy, then blend into a pulp.
  5. Add Sugar: Combine peach pulp with sugar in a saucepan.
  6. Cook the Mixture: Boil and simmer until thickened.
  7. Store or Can: Ladle into jars for canning or store in the refrigerator or freezer.
