Ingredients
Cheese Ravioli:
12 oz cheese ravioli (fresh or refrigerated)
Steak:
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
Garlic Butter Sauce:
4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Prepare Ravioli: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook ravioli according to package instructions. Drain and set aside (drizzle with a little olive oil to prevent sticking if needed).
Sear Steak: Season steak cubes generously with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tbsp butter + 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak on all sides until golden brown and cooked to desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
Make Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add remaining 3 tbsp butter and garlic. Sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute). Stir in cream and Parmesan. Let simmer gently for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. Add red pepper flakes if using.
Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked ravioli and steak back into the skillet. Toss gently to coat in the garlic butter sauce. Simmer for another 1-2 minutes to heat through.
Finish and Serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
This dish pairs well with a side salad or crusty bread.
