This hearty Hamburger Soup is a comforting classic filled with savory ground beef, tender vegetables, and flavorful seasonings. It’s a perfect one-pot meal for a cozy night in.

Ingredients

Ground Beef:

  • 1 pound

Vegetables:

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 stalk celery, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 3 cups frozen mixed vegetables (corn, green bean, carrot mix)

Broth and Sauces:

  • 5 cups beef broth
  • 15 ounces tomatoes, diced with juice
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Seasonings:

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the Beef: In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up into crumbles.
  2. Add Aromatics: Stir in onion, celery, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are softened.
  3. Simmer: Add potatoes, beef broth, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 20-25 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  4. Finish: Stir in frozen mixed vegetables and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until heated through. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Serve: Ladle the hot soup into bowls and enjoy!
