Gochujang Pasta Cream Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons Gochujang (Korean Red Chili Pepper Paste Sauce)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced or pressed)
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup shredded parmesan or cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pasta Preparation: Bring water to a rolling boil. Salt water (optional). Add pasta and cook for 7-12 minutes or until desired texture. Strain and set aside.
  2. Gochujang Pasta Cream Sauce: In a sauté pan over medium heat, add butter and olive oil. Cook garlic for 30-60 seconds until fragrant. Add Gochujang, heavy cream, and cheese. Cook for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened. Add cooked pasta and stir to combine. Garnish with parsley and serve.
