Ingredients

Brownie Batter:

  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 cup Heath toffee bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly spray an 8-inch square baking pan with cooking spray and line with parchment paper.
  2. Cut butter into small cubes.
  3. In a large bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter in the microwave.
  4. Stir in sugar and vanilla.
  5. Add eggs one at a time.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.
  7. Combine dry mixture with wet mixture.
  8. Stir in toffee bits.
  9. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 33-37 minutes.
  10. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
  11. Store in an airtight container.
