Ingredients

Beef:

  • 1 ½ pounds beef Flank, Sirloin, Ribeye, or Filet Mignon Steak, sliced thinly

Sauce:

  • 1 cup beef stock or broth
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed

Other:

  • 3 cups broccoli florets, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Prepare Slow Cooker: Spray the basin of a 6-quart slow cooker with non-stick spray.
  2. Add Beef: Place the sliced beef in the slow cooker.
  3. Make Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, and garlic. Pour over the beef.
  4. Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
  5. Thicken Sauce: Remove ½ cup of broth, whisk in cornstarch, return to slow cooker, and stir.
  6. Add Broccoli: Add broccoli, cover, and cook for an additional hour.
