Pizza Dough:
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp yeast
3/4 cup warm water
2 tablespoons oil
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups flour
Dusting:
2 tablespoons cornmeal
Pizza Sauce:
2 lbs tomatoes
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp onion powder
4–6 garlic cloves
Instructions
Pizza Dough: In a large bowl, dissolve sugar and yeast in warm water. Add flour, salt, and oil. Mix, knead until smooth. Let it rise. Roll out the dough.
Pizza Sauce: Halve tomatoes, roast with garlic and seasonings. Blend until smooth.
