Ingredients
Salmon Bites:
1 lb fresh, skinless salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Vegetable oil (for frying)
Bang Bang Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp lime juice
Instructions
Cut the salmon into 1-inch cubes and pat them dry with paper towels.
Set up a breading station with three bowls: flour, beaten eggs, and panko mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Coat each salmon piece in flour, then dip in eggs, and finally roll in the panko mixture. Set aside.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat until hot. Fry the salmon bites in batches for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth. Drizzle the bang bang sauce over the crispy salmon bites and serve immediately.
Notes
For a healthier option, air fry the salmon bites at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in an oven or air fryer for best results.
For extra texture, top with toasted sesame seeds or crushed peanuts before serving.
