Juicy chicken breasts are seasoned, seared, and then baked with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese on Hawaiian rolls, creating a mouthwatering dish perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken breasts, cut into twelve 1/2-inch steaks
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons fresh cracked black pepper

For Assembly:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 ounces grated fresh parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 12 Hawaiian dinner rolls, or other slider buns

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Prepare rolls: Cut the rolls in half lengthwise, place on a baking sheet, brush with garlic butter, and bake until golden brown.
  3. Prepare chicken: Slice chicken breasts, season, and cook in a skillet until browned and cooked through.
