Crock Pot Spaghetti is a comforting and easy slow cooker meal that combines pasta, meaty marinara sauce, and gooey cheese for a satisfying family dinner.

Ingredients

For the Meat Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ½ cup diced yellow onion
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning blend
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

For the Spaghetti:

  • 1 pound standard spaghetti noodles broken in half
  • 48 ounces (2 24-ounce jars) tomato & basil marinara sauce
  • 15 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cups chicken broth, divided

For Garnish:

  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Meat Sauce: In a skillet, cook ground beef, onions, garlic, seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Add cooked beef, spaghetti, marinara sauce, crushed tomatoes, and 1 cup of broth to the crock pot.
  3. Cook: Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 hours until noodles are tender.
  4. Add Cheese: Stir in remaining broth, top with parmesan and mozzarella, and cook until cheese melts.
  5. Garnish: Sprinkle with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure not to overcook the noodles.
  • Feel free to add extra vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms to the sauce.
