  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 1/4 cup canola oil or melted coconut oil
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, divided

  1. Preheat Oven: Heat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
