Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Spinach and Mushroom Mixture:

  • 2 cups chopped fresh spinach
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms

For the Creamy Sauce:

  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

For Topping:

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté garlic: Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté garlic until aromatic.
  3. Cook mushrooms: Add mushrooms to the skillet, cook until tender.
  4. Add spinach: Stir in spinach, cook until wilted. Remove from heat.
  5. Prepare sauce: Mix cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  6. Assemble: Place chicken in a baking dish, top with spinach-mushroom mixture, pour sauce over, and add mozzarella cheese.
