Caramel apple dip combines creamy cheese, sweet caramel, and crunchy toffee bits for a quick and easy treat. Perfect for any occasion, this dip is ready in just minutes and pairs wonderfully with fresh apple slices.

Ingredients

Cream Cheese Mixture:

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature (two 8-ounce blocks)
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping:

  • 13.5 ounces caramel dip
  • ¼ cup English toffee bits
  • 4 medium apples (red and green apple slices for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cream Cheese Mixture: To a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese, sifted powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat on medium-high speed, using an electric mixer, for 1-2 minutes or until smooth and fluffy. Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl with a rubber spatula to ensure that all the ingredients are well combined and no lumps of cream cheese remain.
  2. Assembly: Transfer the cream cheese mixture to a small (approximately 1-quart sized) serving dish and spread it out evenly. Top the cream cheese mixture with the caramel dip and smooth to create an even layer. Sprinkle the toffee bits evenly over the caramel dip.
  3. Serve: Serve the caramel apple dip at room temperature alongside a tray of sliced red and green apples.

Notes

  • If your cream cheese isn’t soft, you can cut it into small pieces and set them on a plate on the counter for 15-20 minutes. Softened cream cheese is the secret to making a fluffy caramel apple dip.
  • Regularly scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl with a rubber spatula to ensure all components are well incorporated.
