Ingredients
Lo Mein Noodles:
8 oz lo mein noodles
Beef and Vegetables:
8 oz beef flank steak, thinly sliced
1 cup bell peppers (mixed colors), sliced
1 cup carrots, julienned
4 green onions, sliced
Sauce and Oil:
2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions
Prepare your ingredients: Slice the beef and vegetables.
Cook the noodles: Boil water and cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve half a cup of pasta water.
Sauté the beef: Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Stir-fry the sliced beef for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from wok and set aside.
Stir-fry the vegetables: In the same wok, add bell peppers, carrots, and half of the green onions. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
Combine everything: Return cooked noodles and beef to the wok. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and reserved pasta water. Toss well until combined.
Serve immediately: Plate your Beef Lo Mein and garnish with remaining green onions.
