1 ½ pounds beef chuck or flank steak, sliced against the grain
For the Sauce:
1 cup beef broth
½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
¼ cup oyster sauce
¼ cup hoisin sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
Additional:
4 cups broccoli florets
Cooked white rice (for serving)
Sliced green onions (for garnish)
Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the Sauce: Add beef broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, garlic, and sesame oil to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
Cook the Beef: Add the beef to the slow cooker and coat with the sauce mixture. Cook on low for 4-5 hours until tender.
Thicken the Sauce: Mix cornstarch and water, then add to the slow cooker. Cook for an additional 30 minutes.
Add Broccoli: Place broccoli in the slow cooker, cover, and cook for 20-30 minutes until tender.
Serve: Serve beef and broccoli over white rice, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
